The PS3 tells me straight

Snooker

My biggest break today? 6. Shocking.

You will not survive...

Yawn, that was Tuesday sorted. Trying to do something practical today.

Modern Warfare 2

OK, so I'm not a FNG rank 5 anymore, the 26 for 3 was my first game. I thought they would all be like this... The treble skull game was a level 3. It's all heartbeat / thermal vs. cold blooded / ninja these days. Ah, release week was fun. PSN: UKM79 for a game

Modern warfare 2

Dogblog's friend has his copy early. 12,000+ people on the leaderboard already. No-one prestige yet. Had a go, superb. Co-op mode a nice surprise, think mercs mode in RE5, only better.

Americans still like to use this NSFW word... but it is a bit lolz

Destructoid - Rumortoid: New LIPS game on the way: "

I kind of wanted Lips just so I could sing 'Take on Me' like in the advert and everything. But, I can save £40 by singing into whatever object comes to hand and just telling myself how good I was at it.

Daft Punk - Little Big Planet

Homage to Daft Punk made entirely using LBP on PS3. Video here.

Drake's completed

Finished Drake's on crushing this evening. Now I have unlocked the platinum + all in game goodies such as being fat, having a golden gun and a sniper rifle at all times. And infinite ammo. Goodbye Drake's glad I don't have to play anymore. Third time through was boring.

Killzone action pics

Dogblog loves killzone. Here a good friend of mine is at my mercy. Lucky I didn't spot an mark him. And generations yet unborn while we're at it.

Hmmm, collectors edition

Worth 60 quid? No. Worth 30 quid considering the game is in there too? Yes. Now just to finish it off I need some coke bottlecaps, two mobile phones + some plastique.

Classic funny games quotes

Classics as in piss funny rather than because you will have seen any of them. Some of these need to go on T-shirts. Then you send me the T-shirts for Christmas. Size = large. [Via Sydlexia]. Clicky Click!

UKM79 on xbox live

If you meet me on the internets playing xbox then this is what you see. From here.

Hey, look there, a dancing robot...

This robot is a good robot. It can play Pong and then insult you when it beats you. It also has a rather predictable line in distractions. Video here. [Via Engadget]

Wii cheerleading game tested - Video

Hmmm, cheerleaders. Video

Get classic games cheap

GOG.com (good old games) has gone into public beta. Games have been optimised to run on XP or Vista (thank god for boot camp). They are DRM free and reasonably priced. Fallout 1 and 2 are tempting as I missed those first time around. Castles 2 was a great game, worth a look. Here

Microsoft REALLY want you to buy an xbox

Little Big Planet Difference Engine / 8bit calculator

The man has made a mechanical calculator using a PS3 game and a Dualshock control pad! This must have taken ages. The first part of the video shows that it works but it's only when you get to see the behind the scenes design that the magnitude of this project kicks in. It might not be as difficult as physically making a mechanical calculator with hand cast cogs but it comes a close second... VIDEO

PS4 details revealed! What do you think?

The current plan PS4, Cell BE will be based on the original expansion of the PLAYSTATION + Cell BE appear to be close to a strategy that is in essence be no different. ハードとソフトへの投資を抑えるために、Cell BEをベースにPS4を開発するというストーリーだ。 To invest in hardware and software in order to suppress, Cell BE-based story of the development of PS4. すでに膨大な投資を行なってしまったCell BEと、その上のソフトウェアスタックやツールへの投資を、できれば継承したいというのがSCEの狙いだと思われる。 Already have huge investments and the Cell BE the software stack and tools on the investment, if you want to inherit that seems to be aimed at SCE. 今のSCEに、PS3の時と同じ規模の開発投資を、次の世代でも行なうだけの余裕はないだろう。 Now in the SCE, PS3 at the same scale and investment in the development of the next generation will not even afford to do.

Wipeout HD £11.99 25th of September

Easiest £12 I'll ever spend! Can't wait to see Wipeout as it always should have been. MASSIVE and FAST and through my new AMP. [Via CVG]

Finally completed MGS4

It's rare I complete a game at all, I usually get distracted by a new release and swop games. MGS is different though, ever since I played MGS1 on the Playstation. I love the references to MGS1 in the game, superb. Anyway, I got Eagle rank (amongst others), I do like headshots. Not being scared of spoilers anymore I had a trawl on the net and found a nice guide. I'm going to have to watch some youtube videos as some of the unlockables just seem impossible!
